Finally my application to set up my NPWP as non-effective taxpayer ("Wajib Pajak Non Efektif" or WP NE) is granted. I thought it would takes very long time to get it done or even more difficult. Apparently it was less than a month and no significant problems.Before that, I took time to consult with the consulting stuff at the tax office (which were very kind and friendly.. ^_^ ) to make sure if with my situations.. etc, I could change my NPWP status to be non effective and to ask how to get that WP NE status and what requirements were needed.
- An application letter
- A statement letter with stamp (materai)
- Copy of NPWP
So what I needed just to make an application and a statement letters
that I have not been doing any business for about 3 years now. That
friendly stuff was even helping me how to make that application letter

Well.. the application letter that I made was more simple. The point is you tell the reason why you want your NPWP status changed to be non effective (according to the criteria for Non Effective Taxpayer of course). After I handed the letters.. lucky me I met the stuff who was handling that case at her office. So she interviewed me directly about my applications. Actually they should be checking the place of business/office. But because I don't have it so she didn't have to do it. Then she said they would send the letter by post less than a month. But after a month I still didn't get the letter from them so I called her and asked about it. She said my application has approved and asked me to come to get the letter from them.
Mission accomplished.. No more monthly report :D
